What did you want to become when you were a child?

I don't think that it would surprise anyone who knows me that, if I said I have had a fascination with Aviation since I was a little kid.

How did your friends/family react when you told them you wanted to be a model?

There wasn’t talk about it really. I was in college at the time when I started, and as long as it did not interfere too much with my class schedule it was simple.

How long have you been modelling for?

Almost nine years now.

What has been your greatest accomplishment so far:

That's a tough question because I feel like I have been very blessed in all of the work I have done. I’ve worked with some of the biggest brands and photographers on the planet, and I can’t even guess how many different countries modeling has brought me to over the years.

What aspects of your job do you like best/least?

I know it's cliché, but the travel is both the best, and the worst part of my job.  I live in NYC. However, I spend 6 months a year living out of a suitcase either for jobs or contracts all over the world. Sure, it can be fun and exciting to explore a new place; but at the same time, it can get pretty lonely too.

Describe your style in terms of fashion:

I get to wear some really amazing clothing and beautifully tailored suits for work and events, but when I am just out running around town for castings or whatever I keep it pretty simple.  Definitely quality materials and fabrics over quantity. There is nothing wrong T-shirt and jeans but skip the beat up sneakers and invest in an elegant bag, watch and shoes. Also, don’t be afraid to keep it personal - even my necklace has a miniature white gold airplane pendant on it!

What makes you happy?

I have a pretty small family, so when we are all able to get together for the holidays or something, I always love that.  Last year, my parents and brother flew to visit me for the week in Paris - the day before they landed, I booked a nice job back in NYC and flew out with only spending 12 hours with them.  That is not the first time something like this has happened. haha!

What brings you the greatest satisfaction?

Flying down the coast while watching the sunset.

What is the something you wish you knew when you were younger?

We literally don’t have enough time to talk about all of the advice I would give to my younger self - I could write a book.

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

Chocolate. For sure.

What do you most value in people?

Honest, hard working people who take initiative in the small things.

Name 2 things people don't know about you:

I will not sing in public. I graduated high school and university with honors.

Shocking - I know.

What is your motto?

You can’t wait for someone to hand it to you.

Any advice for men wanting to become models?

A person interested in modeling (or starting any business really) needs to be very clear of why they want to be in the industry. There are always ups and downs. You have to be ready for set backs and playing the waiting game. If I have learned nothing else from modeling, it is patience and perseverance.

Any last words?

I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to do these interviews and drawings, I am glad you reached out! I always encourage people to reach out to me on social media!
