Alex D. Wong

Dancer/Choreographer: So You Think You Can Dance, Flesh & Blood, Peter Pan LIVE!

What has been your greatest accomplishment so far:

I definitely think SYTYCD changed my life in so many aspects. I am really proud to be working on a show that has changed the face of dance!

What aspects of your job do you like best/least?

I love the fact that I get to do what I love! There are so few people that can genuinely say they enjoy what they do so much. I get to do so many different types of jobs, commercials, tv, Broadway, concert work and travel! The thing I like about it the least is that sometimes people don't respect dancers and that dancers put a lot of hard work into their craft.

Who would you love to work with & why?

I would love to work with Bruno Mars. I think he's a great singer.

Who have you kept in touch with from SYTYCD?

We are a pretty tight knit family. My closest friend from the show would be Marko Germar from Season 8. Also I'm very close with Kent Boyd from season 7.

What makes you happy?

When I see something inspirational on someone else, clothing that just looks SO good! And put together with such great taste. I'm not a fan of gothic fasion and raggy looking things.

What is your favorite song of all time?

Possibly "No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown.

What are some of your favourite movies?

Spirited Away, Mean Girls, I Am Legend.

Which two people do you find most inspiring, why?

David Hallberg because he is an amazing dancer.

Mia Michaels because she is an amazing choreographer.

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

Bubble Tea (Boba) without a doubt.

What do you most value in people?

Honesty, Humour, Trust, Selfless, Drive, Intelligence.

Name 3 things people don't know about you:

1. I sing

2. I love eating.

3. I love traveling.

What is your motto?

Everything Happens for a Reason.

Where do you see yourself in 3 years?

Loving what I'm doing.

Any last words?

Thank you!
