When you were a child, what did you dream of becoming when you grew up?

When I grew up things were very different I feel.

When I grew up kids wanted to be lawyers, doctors, teachers, they had real dreams to become something and make something of them selves. I feel nowadays kids just want to be famous when they grow up which is a shame, at least attach it to something like; a famous sports person, politician, professional, someone with a talent or purpose...but that's the world we live in at present I guess.

So for me I wanted to be a lawyer first ,then realized I had potential as a footballer and drifted towards that.

After getting injured several times I ended up studying law at university so I guess that was always in my mind.

How did your friends/family react when you told them you wanted to be a actor?

I fell into acting. I was in University studying Law. I was modeling to pay for books and tuition when my agent put me forward for a sports drama called "Dream Team". I looked the part and gave it my best in the audition, they saw potential and offered a two year contract. My friends and family both supported me as it was instant work, I didn't have to go to audition after audition, I was going straight into television so pushed my to ride the wave...

How long have you been acting for?

About ten years now

What has been your greatest accomplishment so far:

In acting it's getting to work toe to toe with various idols of mine that I used to watch in the uk growing up; Jennifer Coolidge & Kerry Russell in "Austenland", Isaiah Washington & Henry Ian Cuisak in "The 100", "Mistresses", "NCIS".

In life, it's staying true to myself in a fickle, harsh, two faced world.

I love the saying "let your smile change the world, don't let the world change your smile."

What made you take the leap and move from England to the States/Canada?

It was always my dream to be in American TV and film and don't want to live life with regrets. Take the chance

What aspects of your job do you like best/least?

I get to travel and play make believe for a living. It's Peter Pan syndrome,we never grow up, it's exciting to play other characters with no real life consequences.

Though It's very hard to settle in one place and establish lasting relationships, you end up being away from family or friends for much of your time

Casual, tailored and unique

What makes you happy?

Everything. Never rely on someone or something to make you happy, as that can always be taken away. I'm happy with myself, life and those closest to me. Everything else in life is as bonus.

Positivity breeds positivity

What is your favourite song at the moment, and of all time?

"Young and Beautiful" by Lana del Rey, the song reminds me of a great time in my life. Speaking of, my favorite of all time Is "I Believe I Can Fly" (by R.Kelly) for the same reason - sentimental choice

What are some of your favourite movies?

Anything from Top Gun, True Romance, Crash to The Notebook, Pursuit of Happiness to Dumb & Dumber, and Just Friends

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

Chocolate and pizza, not together... well maybe ;)

Any advice for those wanting to become actors?

Don't, unless you're thick skinned and comfortable with never being enough. But if you're confident, happy in your own skin, determined and ready to sacrifice and give it your all, go for it!
